18kg Front Loader Washer (Dexter)

1. Open the door by releasing the lock handle to the right
2. Ensure the machine is empty inside (good to spin the drum a couple of times)
3. Load washing into tub and fill up to fist height from the top without squeezing in. Washing needs room to move!
4. Close the door ensuring no items are stuck in the rubber seal and lock the handle to the left/down position
5. Select Washing Temperate: HOT, WARM or COLD
6. Add Detergent into large opening of the fill tub above the machine
7. Add Fabric softener into the small opening behind the detergent fill tub (optional)
8. The machine is now ready for payment.
   Coins – insert coins ($1 & $2 coins only).
   Tangerpay – Scan the QR code on the orange disk and proceed with card/paypal.
   1. Once the payment is done press the start button.
9. The cycle is approximately 26mins
10. When complete a buzzing sound can be heard at which point the handle can be opened to remove clothing.
11. PLEASE ENSURE YOU CHECK THE MACHINE IS COMPLETELY EMPTY (best to spin the drum a few times as socks stick to the roof!)

36kg Front Loader Washers (Dexter)

7. Add Fabric softener into the small container inside the detergent fill tub (optional)
8. The machine is now ready for payment.
   Coins – insert coins ($1 & $2 coins only).
   Tangerpay – Scan the QR code on the orange disk and proceed with card/paypal.
   1. Once the payment is done the cycle will automatically begin.
9. The wash is approximately 38mins
10. When complete a buzzing sound can be heard at which point the handle can be opened to remove clothing.
11. PLEASE ENSURE YOU CHECK THE MACHINE IS COMPLETELY EMPTY (best to spin the drum a few times as socks stick to the roof!)

6.5kg Top loader washer (Speed Queen)

1. Lift the lid and ensure the machine is empty & clean
2. Add detergent before clothing is put into the tub (liquid or power)
3. Select Washing Temperate/Cycle (see diagram)
4. Put washing into tub. Ensure not to fill above ¾ of the tub height, washing needs room to move!
5. Gently close the machine lid (lid must be closed in order to begin cycle).
6. The machine is now ready to insert coins ($1 coins only x 7) into coin slider. Push slider in to start.
7. When complete, ensure machine is completely empty

Dryers

1. Open the dryer door, ensure that it is empty and load up your wet washing.
2. Please ensure not to fill above half way, it is much better and more efficient to use a second dryer than to overload one as you will end up spending more overall with one.

CAUTION – Commercial dryers are much hotter than domestic machines so take care when choosing how hot and how long to dry for. As a general rule:

1. Towels = Hot/High (90 degrees)
2. Clothing = Warm/Medium (60 degrees)
3. Linen (sheets etc) = Warm/Low (40 degrees)
4. Delicates = Warm/Low (40 degrees)
5. Woollens, Leather, Polyester and Nylons are advised to hang dry and not be put into dryers but if you do = Low ONLY (40 degrees)
6. Average time taken to dry laundry varies
   1. Small machine, half filled on high temperature is $6.00 (36 minutes).
   2. Small machine, half filled on high with towels is $7.00 (42 minutes).
7. The machine is now ready for payment
8. 1. LARGE Dryer – Minimum of $2.00 for 8 minutes to start cycle, then $1 is 4 minutes
   2. SMALL Dryer – Minimum of $1.00 for 6 minutes to start cycle
      Coins – insert coins ($1 & $2 coins only).
      Tangerpay – Scan the QR code on the orange disk and proceed with card/paypal
   3. Once the payment is done and the temperature is set, PRESS Start
   4. Set Timer so you don’t forget to pickup your clean and dry washing

Change Machine

1. Change machine is provided for the use of MBL customers. 
2. Machine accepts $5, $10 & $20 only and will dispense for the equivalent $1 Coins.
3. All notes much be Carefully inserted and free of bends/folds in order to be accepted by the note reader.
4. Machine will also accept $2 coin in top slot and break for 2 x $1 Coins
5. The change machine will not accept any other coin denomination other than $2 into the top slot.
